About us
The Rose Café has been a favorite of many locals, who have grown up with several generations going back to the late 1940's where the original Rose Café began on Haley Street. The matriarch of the family (Anita Guevara) known to many as Mamanita.

Think of going back in time, back to the early 1950's, well that is when Anita Guevara began her long journey.
She took over this business and has kept it thriving ever since! While she owned and operated the Haley location, her eldest son, Manuel Barajas, opened the second location on the mesa, The Rose Cafe #2, in August of 1980. While they have each passed on, both restaurants are still owned and operated by the Barajas and Guevara family.

Not much has changed with our recipes over the many years. Patrons come to Rose Café for their favorites and expect them to be there.
